HabiTrot 5k Run/Walk and Kids' Fun Run

The HabiTrot is an annual 5k Run/Walk and Kids' Fun Run held every Thanksgiving morning. This year, the event will be held on November 25th.  It's a great way to spend time with your family on the holiday as well as burn off those calories from the feast later in the day. 

 

Volunteer Opportunities

• Locating corporate financial sponsors
• Finding food and drink donors
• Searching out graphic design help for assistance with brochures and t-shirts
• Joining the event planners as a sub-committee member

 

The purpose of the event is to provide funds for Habitat for Humanity of Williamson County.  Habitat for Humanity builds houses with the help of the homeowner families.  Habitat houses are sold to partner families at no profit and are financed with affordable, no interest loans.  The homeowner's monthly payments then go into a revolving fund that is used to build more houses.
